fcuking thieves...
My take is, let's leave that up to life to happen. Not worth it to even begin to focus any sort of energy on retribution. Really, what are you going to do?
Obviously, the thief's life ain't exactly all that flowery to be so desperate to steal from others. That's sad enough.
I'm not saying I wouldn't put the beat down on the person if I saw them in the act doing it to your car or mine or another friend's... just that all these emotions... get a handle cuz if something else more serious happens in life... then you be like dayum, life is short.

I just want to say thanks for the support, guys (and vmom)
The whole "violated" sensation is the real bummer - and knowing that scum like that are lurking right outside your door.
I'm not going to sleep overnight in the car with a shotgun (like I might have in the past
) but I do have high hopes that something bad will happen to that asshole. Sooner or later I think it'll catch up to them.
It is disappointing to note that police are totally uninterested in coming out and investigating.
I have filed a report and am getting it fixed tomorrow. Beyond that - no much else to do.

No worries. Somehow I don't believe this is an isolated act on the pilferer's part. IMO his/her collective acts will warrant some bad stuff happening to them.

The "fcuking thieves" make a living out of destroying other peoples property. They have to be arrested 8-10 times before they'll do any jail time or suffer any consequences (they're always juvenals). Insurance protects us from any one act, but we all pay for the damages in higher insurance premiums. How much? $150 a year, more? I don't know, alot.
Attudes like Ben's are the reason society lets the thieves off the hook so easy. "Really, what are you going to do?"
Get pissed and do something, or just vote the nobody-is-held-resonsable, blame-it-on-society types out office.

I'll camp out w/ the shotgun if you're too scared
I don't subscribe to the "getting even" club either (that ain't worth it) ................... I always say "get ahead" (now that's worth taking the time)
