Default Finally getting the car back to WA

My car is finally going to be shipped here in a couple of weeks -- am I going to bomb the emissions test? Running aftercooled Comptech SC and HKS exhaust.

I also have to take the driver's test again because apparently Canucks don't know how to drive... Wonder how often the guys at the DMV do drive tests in cars like this.

My title also has "US EXPORT" stamped on it from when I took it back last summer. Is this going to affect my registration here?

Unless you have a check engine light on, you should pass emissions. If a visual inspection is required (unlikely) you can point out the CARB certification number on your Comptech unit.

Haha it's in nasty shape right now... Front lip and side strakes are off for ground clearance during shipping, side strakes left behind some nasty gummy shit that I have to clean up, headlights are wired for stupid Canadian day-running-lights, and it's filthy. I better clean it up and get everything fixed up so you don't break into tears when you see it.

Also have to get the rear fenders rolled, replace front tires, and fix front driver side fender lining (was damaged since day one).

The car has a new stablemate though, we should be picking up a new A4 S-Line this week or next...

Hmm I don't ever remember the front driver side fender lining being damaged from when I sold it to you. It seems like you're still pissed off about this since you're even bothering to mention it today.

But it sounds like you did a good job of messing up the condition of the car on your own anyways and why you're rolling the rears - you can find tires that'll fit and that whole RE050A PP running wider than S-03s is still a wtf deal for me.

Woah no I didn't mean to sound pissed off at all, sorry if it came across that way. I'm just being fussy and trying to get it 100% where I want it, that's all. I'm very happy with the car as a whole. I paid for it, and it's my responsibility now, I'm not trying to stick anything on you.

Some things came up before the move, and I haven't had time to mess around with it. For all I know, maybe my alignment got thrown off somehow.
