Default Finding a doctor.

So, I guess now that I'm insured and whatnot, I should probably go to the doctor and find out how soon I'm going to die... but I have no idea where to look. I had a family doctor of my parents' choice until I was 18, no doctor through college, then a doctor that was recommended by a girlfriend (he was a lot better doctor than she was a girlfriend). My insurance covers nearly every doctor in the sound, so that doesn't really help narrow it down. I read some online reviews, but most of those are either solely based on how fast the doctor can do a pap or how clean the waiting room is.

Thoughts? Recommendations (obviously considering that I'd prefer my doctor to be in north Seattle or near Boeing alley).

While we're at it... the same goes for a dentist. I need to get the airbag residue out of my teeth.

My health insurance web page allows you to search by distance, specialty and degree, year graduated, male, female etc...

I assume that yours does too.

Pick a doctor with some experience and whom graduated from a good school

Or..... you could just pick one with boobs.

If you're pregnant, you can't do better than my wife.

But I'm guessing that that's not the case.

Maybe your avatar...

The problem is that my insurance covers TOO many doctors. Pretty much every doctor in the Seattle area, it seems. I also don't know what the "good" medical schools are.

Oh well, guess I'll pick a number and see how it works out.

I'm piggybacking on this thread. Any recommendations for a primary care physician in the Steilacoom/Lakewood/University Place area...?
