Drive on 26 July around Mt. Rainer

Sunday Drives are our original 1 day Driving Adventures. They are an opportunity to spend some quality time carving up the asphalt with other driving enthusiasts.

These drives range from 80 to 120 miles, and come with a full color route book with turn-by-turn directions and a Boxed Lunch for the driver. During the warmer months we enjoy the fresh air and freedom of the outdoors for lunch. When the weather turns cooler we retreat indoors.

Sunday Drives are NOT RACES. While we do drive in spirited manner, racing and other Speed Contests belong at the track. Anyone who decides to drive in a reckless or otherwise inappropriate manner may be asked not to attend future Group Drives. Start : Sunday 26th of July 2009 09:00:00 AM
End : Sunday 26th of July 2009 09:00:00 AM

For our usual July trip to "The Mountain" we're meeting in Eatonville. This year Mt Rainier has been cast to play the part of the The Mountain for us. We'll buzz south through Ashford and Packwood, enjoying several wonderful gems along the way. After lunch we'll head north along the Eastern flanks of the Mtn before returning to Wilkeson.

Driver Sign-In at 9am.
Drivers' Meeting and Group Photo is at 9:45.
We hit the road at 10am.

I actually drove this two weeks ago...a few spots on the road were pretty rough and my tires rubbed against the fender...but my friend and I had a blast.
