I was up at the pass since Wed night. It rained, rained, rained, but today (Fri) wasn't too bad. Didn't rain, but it was foggy.

Ungroomed snow is raincrust, but where it was groomed it was OK.

According to larry schick it is going to be a really good weekend with freezing levels down at 1000ft.

You should look here for weather updates...he is usally pretty good at predicting conditions.

Was up at Stevens yesterday. VERY crusty, but skiable if you don't mind the loud sandpaper noice as you careen down the slopes...

Best Cascades weather predictions I know of are from the NWAC. These guys are the real pros of NW mountain weather and snow.

Also essential for avy forecasts if you go out of developed areas.
