Getting desperate - off topic
Hey guys and girls,
Sorry to post an off topic, but I'm getting desperate here. I met a few of you at the go cart get together with the NSX club a couple months back. Well, things are getting a bit rough, in that I'm STILL unemployed. If any of you hear of any type of Network Engineer position or any other IT job for that matter, I'd greatly appreciate all the help I can get. I usually have good luck once I get in for an interview, but I don't even seem to have luck getting to that point.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I appreciate the help.

Sorry to hear about your situation...
You might want to look into federal jobs. Last time I checked, there were at least a dozen vacancies in the pacific northwest (WA and OR) for your job field. The application process takes a while, and requires a background check, but once you are in, its a great long-term job. Pay is usually competetive, or a bit less...but layoffs are rare when compared to the private sector. link to government jobs
You can do a search in the area. If I had more time I would look locally for you...but I have a final tomorrow morning and the MCAT on Saturday!
Good luck,
Bryon

There has got to be some jobs in the Portland area. You should check the newspaper website.. Maybe there are some listings. Good luck! If there are any over here in Bend, I will let you know.
