Default gig alert

Got a call today from Arsenio - my keyboardist. I haven't really had much opportunity to play lately - he and his brother now own a restaraunt and I'll be playing on Thursday the 21st from 7:30 'till 10:00 (contemporary jazz) and Saturday night (I think we start a bit later) and the Saturday will be R&B and cjazz.

Manila Bay

212 5th Ave South

Seattle, WA 98104

A nice looking club north of the train station.

you'll have to come down and find out yourself. it'll be more of a party on Saturday - it'll probably be super-laid back tonight.

I wish. Two+ more hours in the dentist chair today. Not really the night to go out on the town.

All I can say is that it was a serious good time tonight. I am normally not one to idly boast but it was a freakin' great show tonigh - I cannot believe how much fun was.

James Clark is one of the best bass players you will ever have the pleasure of hearing/seeing/meeting. I am proud to call him a friend. He now seems to be one of Paul Allen's favorite bass players too!

We also had Dale Catlett who is Buddy Catlett's son. Buddy is one of the most respected musicians to come out of Seattle and he has one helluva drumming son.

Saturday is going to seriously rock.
