Going to the Seattle Auto Show?
Anyone interested in going to the Seattle show tomorrow? I'm going after work around 7 and they're open till 10. Looks pretty sweet. Official Show Site
No mini, no RX-8, no S2000, no 2002 NSX. The show was pretty much a yawn, but I still had fun poking my nose into a few cars.
The Laguna Seca blue convertable M-3 was totally "Ghetto Smurf". You'd think if you were paying that much for a car it would at least look nice. This car also seemed to be one speed bump away from falling apart.
The new Civic SI is definitely Fugly. I can see the aftermarket vendors going buck wild with their potential sales of body kits.
The Altezza/IS 300 now has revised tail lights. The revision took all of the RiceBoi shiny stuff out of the assemblies and it looks much more understated/classy now.
The Elise looked like a fun 2nd car. I am glad I didn't bring my checkbook.
One of the Boxsters had a really whack pair of exhaust tips.
The race-prepped WRX STi got my attention.
After checking out the Lancer and the Mustang, I was reminded just how poor build quality can be.
MKH and I took some pictures while we were there. I bet if we nag, he'll post them up. Especially the one where he and WRS2K were driving the Excursion. Ben couldn't even see over the dash the truck was so big!
