Default Guns, guns, guns

I know I've seen posts of gun talk in the past, so with all of you gun enthusiasts and vets out there, You might be able to help out.

Has anyone out there installed the newer version of the ATI Talon collapsable stock w/Scorpion buttpad/pistol grip pad to your shotgun ? I've seen the older ones and thought they were pretty cheap, but I've also read reviews where people have stated that the new ones are of a higher quality ?. The other issue I'm having is finding a dealer in Wa, Cabela's and Discount have the older version only. I called ATI yesterday and they told me I could make the purchase and return it before 15 days and get a full refund, but if you remove it from the package and install it, they will only give you 80% back.

Also since I've got your attention, anyone out there own the Walther PPQ ? any reviews ?

I don't have any experience with any of those. Check out Seattleguns.net Local resource and lots of info on there.

with Fastfour! Cruise on Seattleguns.net. I surf there sometimes.

If anyone wants to get together at the range or outdoors, I'm down for it!

Is worth a call and for a total long shot (punny) 'Lynnwood Gun & Ammunition' has a chance as well as 'House of Guns' (Where Adventure Sports used to be next to WhirllyBall)

The WAC Gun Show is a maybe too. It's in Monroe next weekend and in Puyallup the following (Puyallup is a way bigger show).

have spent a little time shooting a P99 (PPQ will likely replace this) in both 9mm and 40S&W and I must say it was absolutely excellent, never had a single failure and it is extremely comfortable in your hand

Thanks for the WAC gun show in Monroe update, I forgot all about that. Is it sat/sun ?

carrnut21, comfort was the first thing I noticed about the PPQ and some great reviews on the Youtube. Low Price guns in Bellevue had it for $87 cheaper then Discount.

+1 on Lowpriceguns. I've bought some ammo there and recently had my Desert Eagle transferred through there that I got on Gunbroker. Great guys to deal with and awesome prices, I'll probably be doing most of my shopping there now. FWIW though they don't have a huge in store selection so I generally check out wades around the block first if there is something I want LoL

self defense and concealable

I've checked and shot the Glock 9mm, Springfield .40, Berreta PX4 9mm and have looked at the Walther PPQ or the Ruger LC9

RT, Do have to be a member to go to the WAC shows ? I seen on the site $8 for general public and free for members, but it also mentioned something about "membership tables" ?

The WAC shows are open to the public for $8 entry fee and you can buy anything except a firearm/receiver. If you want to buy a gun, then Membership is $35/yr which includes free entry to the shows. The Tables are if you want to setup and sell stuff at the show.

Some other guns/brands you should look at are Sig, Kahr, FN, HK P2000SK, Springfield XDm, Smith&Wesson M&P.
Don't know about that Walther ... in general, old Walther good, new Walther kinda POS ..... Personally I'm not a Glock fan, but they fit the bill so well I own a couple in spite of not liking them so maybe you should give the G19 and G26 one more look.

Good Luck!
