Haven't been out of the States for a while, but is a passport required to get to Canada? mine just expired last month.

I don't actually think you need one to get into Canada but you need one to get back into the US. I would check with the border people as I am not positive...,

You DO need to have a passport unless you're WHTI compliant (Enhaned driver's license, passport card, etc).
