I'm gonna have to wait until after my wedding (no extra spending right now), but if you guys can do a little write up on your steps, it would be much appreciated. =)

Okay...or how about accepting advice of 225 degrees. And remember to select BAKE (*NOT* broil ). Do each headlamp for two sets of 12 minutes. After first set of 12 minutes, pull out of oven long enough to unfasten the various attach/tabs. As mentioned, handle hot headlamps with a pair of 'mechanics gloves' etc. Return headlamps into oven for 2nd 12 minutes. This time, when you remove them, they'll separate nice and easy. Swap diffusers, etc. Then reverse process noted above to reassemble. Once cooled, add a bead of silicone sealant around the join/seam and you'll be golden.

Of course, all this advice may be of little use...if you've already cleared them now .

Showing your own youth?

Last I checked, I was credited for the oven-bake procedure on http://www.RickS2k.com. You know, the guys that make the diffusers.
Touche'

I should say the commercial baking guru. My bad.
