Default Help - Rubbing issue

Purchased a new set of rims today.

18x7.5 225/40/18 front 48+ offset
18x8.5 255/35/18 rear 50+ offset

Car is lowered with coilover. Ground to rear fender is 64.3cm. Got maybe about half of finger to 1 finger gap.

Does any 1 has similar set up that doesn't rub??
My setup is ok most of the time, but on a fast turn or uneven road at high speed, it will rub at times in the rear.

Any help would be great.

BTW, what would be the best camber setup?

What kind of help are you looking for?

You can either:

1. buy wheels with better offsets

2. raise up the car

3. go with 245s instead of 255s.

4. Shave down washer at fender/bumper seam

5. Roll the fenders

yah, think i'll raise it.

But just want to see if any 1 on here had similar exprience before, and what they did with it. (ie. height of the car with same wheels).

The rims are in proper offset as far as I know, i did a lot of research before i bought the rim. But anyway, thanks for the input.

offsets could be better ..... as in "not rubbing" no matter how low the ride height. Several locals are zero finger (tucked) in the rear running way wider tires than 255's (285/30-18's) w/ no rear fender rubbage

I raised it to day by 1 and half turn on coilover.
That solves the problem i think.

search for pics of Batbite (Work Wheels) or WRS2K (w/ Fikse FM-10's) and you'll see the magical 28530's ..............
