A little curb damage,




During the sanding process



All done.



Sprayed



They look alot better in person, i will take better pictures once i have the tires mounted.

what tools did you use? I don't have any tools, so just asking cuz I'm interested in powdercoating my black and get rid of the curb damage.

Did you try to replace the material you sanded off with filler, or did you just sand them down until they were smooth then paint them? If the latter, is the fact that that part of the rim isn't flush with the rest noticeable?

Were you able to get them for less than $550? I check the weights on them and thought they were just a bit heavy for my taste, but hey they look good.

Sausa8e: no tools needed, I used 60Grit, and took it down by hand.

PedalFaster: There wasnt a need to add any aluminum, the curbage wasnt that deep. aside from a little nick or two you cant tell that the wheel was repaired.


Sentravq: I picked them up for 550, the 18.5/19lbs isnt horrible for a 8 and 9.5 wide wheel. it wont hurt anything once i install the gt35r.. hehe

The paint was some dupont bc/matte cc i had left over, artic white W243.. i accidently reduced it too much but it didnt run.
