Default Infineon laps and spin

Here's another clip from that California trip, which includes my fastest lap of the two days at Infineon, followed immediately by a spin. (I got a little too excited about chasing down that BMW in front of me, and I went way too far up the curbing on T2. That was enough to do it.)

(Once again, I recommend clicking on the "HQ" button for better picture.)

Very cool.

So, after the spin. Did you feel that something was wrong and/or broken? Or is that just your standard procedure? You obviously weren't pushing it for a reason. Just curious on what you do in that situation.

very cool, thanks for sharing. Can you post some pics of your car? I'd like to see some of it all race prepped

The counter steering input was slow but the car probably felt pretty funky after the curbing. Do you remember if it felt like the inside rear tire left the ground?

I barely had time to realize I had missed the apex when the car started rotating and just wouldn't stop. I'm sure both inside wheels left the ground, however. I was way up that curb.

Mike, I'm sensing a trend here, with your car pointing the wrong direction.

Well, those were the most amusing moments. Otherwise it was just four days of monotonous and mind numbing driving around in circuits, never having the thrill of possibly driving off a cliff, hitting a bike rider, or getting arrested for reckless driving.

While there were other people I knew there (including Mark and Chris), mainly I had a great time hanging out with my dad, Pete S., and Pete's dad Peter. My dad and Peter got along great, like I figured they would.
