Default Mt Ranier Drive/BDay Party

It's Toni and my birthday and we want to do a drive around Mt Ranier and end up at my Dad's place in Auburn. Large BBQ etc... to follow drive. His place is on Greenvalley road going to Flaming Geyser. We'd like to get an idea of how many would be interested so we can have enuf stuff. Let me know if you are interested.

That's going to be a much longer drive than you might think. Stevens Canyon road is not open yet but is projected to eventually be open this summer. However, Highway 123 (connecting Stevens Canyon and Chinook Pass) will not be open all year.

That means that to "drive around Mount Rainier" is going to require going across White Pass, going all the way to Naches, and then going back via Chinook Pass.

Count me in. I'm guessing you will fill us in on the rest of the details...such as meeting place and time.

Don't ruin my wifes day with facts! If it's on the map the road must be driveable, right? Well if it's tooooo far, we'll figure something out. I'll figure out a doable drive and meeting place. I have nothing else to do, the first plane won't arrive till the 18th of July. Check back.

Well, I thought about just letting you try it and then hearing the tale of woe afterward....
