Hmm wouldn't the sound deadening/insulating properties be minimized by the fact that we have a soft top? I was under the impression that dynomat wouldn't help that much given a convertible top.

Let us know the outcome.

Dynamat just adds mass (it's pretty inefficient for adding dampening). Whether that is useful or not depends on exactly what noise it is that you are trying to reduce.

Youll probably get more rattles now that everything has been taken apart and reassembled. But it might prevent some exhaust drone. I dont know.

Looks expensive. Even though its a soft top, you could reduce road noise.
