Default My S broken into and vandalized

Hey guys, i just had my car broken into at my house. Unfortunately i live in a townhouse with no garage in Lynnwood. The punks damaged my door, hardtop, window, and even tried to take off my front bumper. I just dont get it why people have no respect for other peoples property. On the inside they stole my navigation system and radar detecor. The losers even took all my paper work insurance, registration, cds and manuels. I know that getting my things back is not likely to happen but just wanted to share with evryone because this crap keeps going on lately. They already broke into my girlfriends car 3 months back.

with the way things are going I don't think it'll get any better. More and more people are getting laid off and more and more people are getting hard up for cash. They know what things are easy to remove (i.e. your navigation and radar) so that's what attracts them. Alarms don't do crap these days since no one really reacts to them. Most ignore it and think it's just an over-sensitive alarm. Sorry to hear about the theft. Your car looks soooo clean too!

Thats true times are hard right now.. I just want to know how they got in.. Doors were shut on locked when i discovered it. The damage along side my passenger door makes me question the motive..

sorry to hear the bad news. there aren't any excuses for stealing things that other people work hard for. pisses me off just hearing about it. hope you get things sorted out with insurance. have you looked at getting a house w/garage instead?

To quote "The Dark Knight",

Some people just want to watch the world burn.
Sorry to hear it man. Most often the thieves are people who can never afford the things we do and therefore, in the process of stealing they also vandalize.

At least your seats are still there!

Alarms DO work, however they are only effective if you are within an earshot or have a remote key that lets you know when your alarm is sounding. Also, had you not had an alarm they could have done greater damage or taken more.
