The last shot in the video is a left front hub failure from my competitors car. That failure in that race allowed me to accrue enough points to seal up the championship so is was a pretty momentous occasion for me.

i 'oh shit'ted at the steering hub, but happened at a good spot, not some 120mph dog leg Great vid, love it!

 

Just as reference, the steering wheel coming off was not my car. I was following him when it happened however. You can tell the difference between the 2 CRX's from inside the cars as I have no giant Tach in the center of the dash, while he does.

He was very lucky... If that had happened at almost any other track it would have be devastating. It was his car in the last shot where his hub failed and his front tire was what came rolling to a stop. This was the penultimate race of the season and his hub failure is what gave me the championship. It was quite the season.
