Default New to the PNW (Whidbey)

Hey all,

New to the Pacific Northwest. Picking up the new addition on Friday. Silver 2005 with just over 130xxx. Been after an S for a while now.

Recently moved to Whidbey Island from Florida in the middle of December. Looking forward to meeting folks and enjoying the scenery. Way different views up here.

More pictures to come, but for now I just have the one I snapped at the first viewing. The daily is in the back, dirty Tsx. Anyone living on or near the island?

Cheers,
-J

Hey congrats on the fine S2000 and welcome to the club! Hope there are some guys out in Whidby you can hook up with. Down south from you we have a weekly dinner and drinks meet in Millcreek on Mondays 7pm. There is a thread sticky on our page for details there. There is a Mount Baker drive coming up this spring as well and should be more things going on as the fair weather starts to hit.

I'm stationed on the island too, but in the next couple weeks the S will be down for some work for a couple months. But there are quite a few of us up here. We also have a couple good car groups on island I would be more than happy to introduce you to.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

I'm looking forward to meeting the local groups, and I will definitely mark my calendar for the Mt. Baker event. sounds like a blast.

Ended up getting the car tonight actually. seller was back in town and I jumped all over the opportunity. will take pictures tomorrow and post, time permitting.

Tixon, I'll be on base in the evening Thursday if you'll be there. If not, let me know and we'll get together sometime soon.

I'm usually on night shift and on base, but I'm off Thursday-Sunday for comp-days. Next weekend I'm tearing my car down again for some upgrades, so I unfortunately won't have the car out past this coming week for a couple months.
