Default New to S2000's

So finally after all these years, I have an S2000 of my very own. I have owned RX-7's MR2 turbo's Impreza RS's and nothing compares to the S2000! I have one question though. I bought this car with the invidia test pipe, and it also has the AEM intake. I was wondering if any of you would like to trade straight across for your factory units. I would like the OEM catalytic converter and OEM airbox. My parts are in pretty good shape. There is a indent on the AEM pipe where a different hood rubbed it a while but it doesn't have a hole, still works great. I am located in Anacortes, Wa. if any of you are interested in a trade straight across. Email me at rotary_tuner@hotmail.com I am so excited to finally have the privilege of logging onto an S2000 forum!

Welcome!

A little off topic, but do you have any pics of your old 2.5rs? I'd love to see what you did with it

Yeah, here it is. Cool car when I put some good rubber and suspension on it but the engine is simply a turd, even for how light it is. It had loads of grip of coarse though. I should have put on coilovers to dial out the terrible understeer these cars have a tendancy to have. I had KYB AGX's and Tanabe GF210 springs, with MOMO wheels and Nankang tires.

Then this is the last car I had before the S2000. It is a 1991 MR2 turbo that I bought with 65k original miles. Pretty car but to be honest, im not that impressed with the whole "character" of the car. The engine severely lacked refinement. Stock turbo performance was lackluster, and overall an absolute PITA to work on, with very little reward when you drive it. Definately a GT car, and simply never put a smile on my face like the S2000 does. MR2 owners turn their MR2's into racecars, where honda took their racecar and turned it into the S2000. Both of these cars had horrible shifter feel. Might as well have been shifting a dildo dipped in applesauce.
