The ticket is less if given by WSP, forget how much though. The city of Seattle sets the price as $101 within city limits.

Thanks, Seattle PD is one of my top choices for future employment along with King and Shohomish County Sheriff's Department. When I get in, I won't right any of guys (or anybody for that matter) any tickets for no front plates. :
Here's my front license relocated using the stock lower center grill bolt and mount and used 2 metal rear mounting straps from previous car stereo kits. I bent the bottom lip of the license to fit. No trimming or other alteration to the plate.
I figured why take a chance on a ticket.

I got ticketed by a cop on a bike in the SODO district back about 2 months ago. I also played dumb. $101 does suck. I went before the magristrate and got it reduced to $50 instead.

I'm thinking about going your "look" pepcss2k. I've seen quite a few board members go that look but many have said that it impedes too much air flow therefore possibly reducing power.

Have you noticed any change in acceleration? I'm not a boy racer but I'll do VTEC just to keep the spirit alive and I don't want to damper any performance.

For a street driven car, it isn't going to make much difference unless you spend a few minutes in stop and go traffic.
