Why not get your typical Buddy Club or Megan Coilovers and save some money?

If you want to improve performance over stock, in order of price and desirability: Bilstein PSS9 < KW Variant 3 < Ohlins < Motons

I guess I made an implicit assumption that the OP needs coilovers for some reason, such as ride height adjustment. Why springs wouldn't fit the bill, I'm not sure.

Any information on coilovers beside your opinions?
No this is the pac NW forum, what are you new? And those opinions are all factual at that.

Last I checked Ohlins come stock from the factory anyway

I remember one of NWS2K owner have Ohlins on his car and I was thinking maybe I have chance to get some information about ohlins on S2000 but I don't think that's going to happen.
I should just buy those and try it myself.

Bingo

You'll learn to say that allot around here. Just do your own thing, but remember we'll make fun of you and then hate you for it. It's suppose to be a club after all, where nobody knows anything other then the first guys in the area that bought the car and started it ( ) Welcome, but make sure you fall in line

Smooth ride = Soft ride

You are going the opposite direction with an aftermarket solution.

...and it would be insane to spend $5k if your goals are simply to be lower and have a smoother ride.

Get lowering springs and some Konis and call it a day.
