And it says they'll make sure to consult with JerryP to ensure a thrilling track experience nothing short of the Ring.

Good information, I wonder what the IRDC experience will be like in the next couple years.

Also I wish they would say something about a sky bridge so that fans might see the "good racing" on the southside.

weird...i'm having troubles visualizing all the changes. They're going to build a oval to the East of the existing complex? There is a lot of wooded area right before high 18. But, man...that's going to be close.

And the new drag strip...going N to S on the westside of the complex? How is that going to happen?

Take a look at the track

Although it wasn't mentioned in the article, I think that Don Kitch said that they want to put a karting track in, also.

Given the local opposition to PR, and the fact that it is by far the most convenient track to my home in Redmond, I am quite heartened by the massive capital expenditures taking place, and contemplated. It does seem unlikely that the track will be going away any time soon.

Ted, I got asked at Spokane why nobody has seen you over there for a while.

The 9000RPM guy (Brad?) wondered where everybody had been. I said Ray had had a kid and Jerry blew up his engine so he bought some Miatas. Then Brad said, "What about Ted?" I had to admit, I didn't know.

Gone but not forgotten!

Mike,

Yeah, Brad's his name. He's a really nice guy. Maybe I'll make it back to Spokane next year.

I'm at GameHouse (part of RealNetworks) in Pioneer Square developing casual games. Working on SCRABBLE right now. The schedule is a bit tight, and a new job and all, so not a lot of time to play.

I take the bus to and from work, so I only start up the S2000 about once a week; around one tank of gas a month. I haven't been on the Eastside in forever (and loving it!)

I am hoping to make it to Pacifc Raceways at least once or twice this summer, but I've been waiting for the less variable weather months.

Hopefully I'll see you and some of the regulars out at PR before long!

Ted
