Default PDX: Anyone missing their seats?

I was at Beaverton Honda a couple of weeks ago and saw a silver s2k with its top slashed and the seats taken out...I was just wondering who this was, and the possibility of these being their stolen seats:
black s2k seats on ebay...location: Portland

This kind of thing is such bs. I wanted to beat the snot out of the punk kid that stole my antenna...I can only imagine how the s2k owner felt coming out to his car only to find his top slashed and his seats gone!

Damn! That sucks....

I mean, the guy selling the seats on ebay could be completely legit, and just bought the seats for another car and changed his mind...though if someone were truly into racing, why would they spend a few thousand and s2000 seats? They are freakin' leather!

I talked with Bruce at Beaverton Honda, and he said that S2000 owner's car has been in the shop for 3+ weeks waiting for the parts to come in to replace the seats.

That would SUCK. 3 Weeks?!

Who knows, the car may still be down there ...

I was at Beaverton Honda this week to get my ignition switch replaced, and I saw a silver S2000 (2000-01) With some front end damage, and a ton of rear end damage. From what the guys there said, the car got into some sort of wreck, which caused the front end damage, and then it was dropped off the tow truck, which caused all of the back end damage. The car looks absolutely horrible! There's cut sheetmetal in the back, and it's just all torn up.

Three weeks? I WISH mine had been taken care of in three weeks!

Last year, on November 5th, I came outside to find my hood ajar. Turns out the seats, steering wheel and the shift knob had been stolen. Now, it's the insurance company's fault this took so damn long, but I was without the car for 2 MONTHS!!!

I still double check when just walking by the car to make sure the seats are still in there.
