Amazing. The house my mom bought in Huntinton Beach Ca in 1972 was priced at $24,000 at the time. It now goes for well over a million. If we only knew then........

($700,000 - $450,000(new condo) - $116,000(original purchase price)

How is that a pot of gold? Bronze, maybe.
