Default Possible move to Seattle ..

What's the weather like first-hand from other S2K owners? People always generalize by saying Seattle means rain all year. How many days can you drive top down in the year?

Thanks!

All of them. You just get wet sometimes.

July through September is reliably very nice. November through February is pretty reliably overcast and rainy, although there are nice spells. October is variable, as is March through June.

Don't forget July being off and on and August usually rather nice. You could drive top down if you don't mind winter cold probably about (this is my best guess) 90 days or so.

It's better than anything upstate NY has to offer.

Why do you say that? Have you lived in Upstate NY? We get all 4 seasons here. It has it's charms.

I've spent some time there (Utica, Rochester). PacNW has many more charms. But YMMV.

I've been there enough times to know. I almost went to a school in Ithaca. I have a relative who studied in Rochester. I have a best friend who lives in Albany.

It's podunk. Lacks diversity. Is in the middle of nowhere significant.

If these areas aren't considered Upstate NY, my apologies. You couldn't pay me to live in NY outside of the Manhattan area.

Rochester is a medium sized city, quite alike Portland, OR. I dont know about living in Albany or Ithaca for that matter.

It's really not that bad, and this is coming from someone who lived 18 years in California and 4 in Hawaii.
