Dude, you prolly have everyone shaking their head and me laughing for saying it 100 times (differential) in numerous threads.

Was the clicking a problem in your differential? It is ironic for a post about clicking in the rear end, to a new post about gear swaps.

If this were a Jeep, I could recommend a place for gear swaps.. I have no idea If Randy's R&P works on S' though.

Give Randy's a call. Ask for Brian Anderson. Tell him Brant sent you. He'll help you out.

I'd like to check out your car when it's done.

I don't see why everyone's so crazy about 4.77s, though. That's going to make the car feel so different, make each gear so much more fleeting. Makes the engine work harder. Rick's customers have had issues with the gears, treated or not. You sure you wanna do this?

If anything, I'd go with 4.44s. I'm very interested actually.

Or better yet, don't fvck with what works!

Hehe 4.77 make it easier on the engine, less resistance. Makes the diff do morw work. Adds the feel of a lighter car accelaration wise. I have only went past 145 a few times so i dont realyl need the top end that much it will end up killing me. I dont daily drive the car anymore so gas milage is not an issue. I feel that 4.77 is what i want, maybe not the best choice for all around stuff but for what i want it seems to be the best. Some peopel have had issues with the gears, but as with everythign it sometimes goes bad 15% is a higher number then i like ot here but that is ok i guess. I plan on having mine cryoed and stuff so that should help out alot! Ill let you check it out when i get it. It will also help with the 18inch rims i think.
