Register for autocross?
I am looking to get into my first autocross. I've read the rules, the do's and don'ts, what to expect, what to bring, etc... Now I just need to sign up. I went to this site:http://scorekeeper.w.../ww2011/profile and created a profile, register my profile and so on. I am trying to figure out what class my car belongs in. It is a 2002 with K&N intake, Berk headers, test pipe, and exhaust. No suspension mods or tire/rim changes. I listed it as Stock B according to this site: http://www.moutons.o...011/stockc.html
Is Stock B the right group?
EDIT: Okay, after looking over some entries from other people I noticed they were under a Novice class. What is the difference between NoviceAM and NovicePM? Time of day...?

Have fun!
Yup, excellent advice... I wouldn't worry at all about mods or car setup initially. Just put some air in your tires, clean your car out (no loose objects anywhere in the car), pre-register online for the novice class, and show up ready to have fun. The nice thing about being in the novice class is that experienced drivers will offer to hop in your car and guide you through the course and give you pointers - it's REALLY helpful when you're starting out and I'd highly recommend asking for an instructor on your first few runs.
BTW, if you sign up for Novice AM you can also pre-register for Time Only PM if you want to do the afternoon session too. I would pre-register for both AM and PM sessions since it doesn't cost you anything to pre-register, just in case you do the AM session and decide you want to stick around for the PM session.
Are you going to the one on Labor Day in Bremerton? If so, I'll see you there
