Replacing soft-tops
When my top got cut(previous thread), I ended up doing the work myself. Bought an E-Z top. Did the install at the worst time, couple months back when it was cold. It took me about a week and a half to install because of the fabric not stretching at all. One day it decided to get sunny and WAM, soft top cooperated. Now I see why you have to do it in a warm climate first hand. Just last week Saturday I installed a Robbins-Top on my friends S2 Started at 2pm-9pm. Had to take long breaks due to the 78 degree weather we had beaming on me. Now I know what to expect from aftermarket soft tops. Now I just want to see how easier the OEM top is.
Well if anybody needs help on which to buy I'll be more than happy to give you advice on what to expect. If anybody needs help on my side of the water for the install. I'll just charge some beer or if you're so kind, Everclear, shoot me a pm.

It may be important here to differentiate between replacing the entire top (frame, motors, skin, window) as a unit, versus taking off the cloth/window and replacing that on the old frame. Doing the whole thing is a drop-in, and involves no work with the fabric at all.
