John, sounds like you need the Shinitsu Grease treatment ......
Of course, that's what I get for adjusting the hard top AFTER it's on the car ....
So let's be clear here -- some type of grease on the seals and I can expect fewer leaks? Especially around the convertible joint that's right in the center of the top? That'd sure be kewl ... I also happen to get some vicious leaking in winter when I have the window down -- a stream of water wraps around the a-pillar and falls sqarely in my lap. Anyone else have that problem?
The Shin-Etsu grease will only help solve leaks caused by the rubber seals stiffening in an inappropriate shape/position. (This sentence rated MA: Mature Audiences only)
The leaks you are experiencing with the windows down can only be cured by driving faster.

The notion of lingual dialects is an old one. The local dialect has developed because of social isolation from the rest of the English speaking world. Specifically, inclement weather hinders the normal flow of tangible and intangible trade. To mitigate the duress of social isolation many of us have resorted to the conciousness modifying liquid known as alcohol. Alcohol has well documented effects upon speech patterns for most humans. For the yahoos that don't drink, their only reality is second grade grammar skills. Remarkably we all understand each other.

Have you considered that it might be more dry if you put the windows up?
