Default Some Auto-X pics from Slush Series

This was the first time auto-x'ing the S2k...I think it may be my last. I was there for much too long for the three runs I got. Nevertheless...it was much fun in the S. Can't wait for track days.

More pics are here: http://www.chikaihuang.com/autox.html

Autocrosses are to a large extent social events. If you don't enjoy hanging out talking about cars with the other people present, then they're probably not your thing.

Neat pics, and glad you had fun even though the day was long.

To make things a little easier, I usually run the AM session, even if its not my class (in which case I run time only). I've usually experienced that the AM session has less turn out (because people sleep in). I get there at 8, and usually are done by 11:30, and then you still have the rest of the afternoon to do stuff.

There were a lot of cars in AM too, 3 runs really sucks, but a lot of that is attributed to the fact that the days are short.

yeah...i do enjoy hanging around and talking about cars...but damn..it was cold that day. I think most people were huddled in their vehicles trying to stay warm.

Anyway...was that you in the red 968? I remember you said you were getting rid of the S for a Porsche. Beautiful ride.

Keep in mind also that this was a Slush event, which meant more people, less runs, and cold, rainy weather. The basic ratio of hours on site for minutes on course remains the same at any autocross, though.

Yeah, that was me in the 968. Thanks. I was driving it like an ass, though. Come back in six months when the car's figured out.

Nice, pics. Looks like you did well. You improved your time each run and they all were clean.
