Question St. helens exploding again?

I remember how much HYPE the news everywhere gave on the helens smoke last year and then huge let down with no explosion. So its happening again and on the news everywhere.

Did they not see this coming? I mean st. helens was not in the news until today when it started spewing ash etc. The UW has soooo many sensors up there how weird.

Anyone of you guys live near by? Portland has an ash alert lol. No more driving topless there

It's been steaming pretty much non-stop since this event started. Yesterday was the biggest ash blow since the ones that started this last summer. Was pretty cool to watch. No ash at my house.

Need to run up there this weekend.
