the j''s racing one is an good choice as well there is a header thread on here that discusses it. and yes if you want some good power go fi its worth the money if you have it and if you really want the power... i/h/e and a good tune can only get you so far....or go itb's witha built motor hehehehehe

I run a Mugen but would never buy one new. You're better off getting one that the heat shields have already fallen off of.

hahah yeah. Ive been wanting to run NA, but its a larger amount of money Id have to dump in compared to boosting it or something. but Ive made my mind to run NA, so Ill be setting it up that way for now...getting ITBs after headers + tune, and maybe some new valve springs, pistons, cams, light flywheel etc. with some suspension of coarse inbetween!

You know, I've done a lot to this car and in looking back, you're really better off putting money into something that can produce a lot more power if you really have that need for speed. With most of the bolt ons out there, including FI, in the end, you're going to hit the limit that 2.0 can possibly put out. Hell, you'll hit the limit the rear tires can keep contact with before you'll hit the limit of the motor.

+1

you won't feel much difference with header. you will feel it but not much and will forget the difference very quickly. save money for forced induction.

I agree with the whole tire thing. What good is power when you can't control it. I once saw an nsx with kick@$$ hp. His father made it dirty-quick, and he made it dirty-slow by flooring it one the launch. Lots of power, but all stock suspension and slightly worn tires. It was a sad day in Honda heaven. Not to mention the kid got a can of whoop-ass mid track. Parents in Hawaii will beat their kids regardless of who's around.

I'm not an expert on cars though. So take my advice lightly. It's only what I've come to know, and yet have a lot to learn.

I messed with my s2k the whole time i owned it, and after running a bunch of setups, i realized that the stock header is very good. unless youre getting ITbs or FI, leave it be and focus on exhaust and tuning.
