Exclamation test pipe emissions

S2ks should pass emissions as long as they dont throw codes since its obd2 but your car is still put on the rollers at about 2500-3k rpm.

Would the tech be tipped off at the smell or is it that 2500 light throttle smell isnt noticable???? they dont do visual in WA.

Other option of course is to switch back to cat but damn hassle as its a bitch to deinstall cat again after you put it back (have to push and wiggle exahust back really far for it to slide down)

nah I'll pass with no codes, but the smell thing does worry me a little. Maybe just being to paranoid.

They are suppose to do a visual check aswell, but the s2k is pretty low. I say better be safe then sorry, put the cat back in and get tested then take it out again.

I don't think you need to run on the dyno ..... just gas cap check and OBD2 plug-in for codes.
