Default Testing waters

For all those who really are testing water.

All others, please stop labelling your posts with this. We all know "FS" and "WTT" and "WTB" posts are not binding, so there is no need to proclaim that you are "testing waters", OK?

Besides, it violates the forum rules in the FAQ.

Glad this peeves someone besides me.

All testing waters means is "I'm not really sure I want to sell it so I'll list a ridiculous asking price in hopes people won't make fun of me since I'm only testing the waters"

...."And I'll continually bump my thread in hopes of selling it, even though I don't have a PNW badge, because I'm not actually selling."

I frequently test the water in my fish tank for proper levels of nitrites, nitrates and Ph.

Don't forget "I really hope some sucker comes along and pays this ridiculous price, even though he could buy a new one for $5 more".
