Default tinting and 3m bra recommendations

So I'm looking for a recommendation for a place in the Eastside or Seattle area that does tinting and 3m bra applications. The toyota dealer wants to charge my uncle 700 just for the labor to install the bra! Thanks.

Precision window tinting in Bremerton is AWESOME, and they do the clear bra stuff too. Got a custom graphic tint job done back in December on my RX-8. They're pricey, but you get what you pay for.

accutint sux - while they may possibly install the stuff to your satisfaction, they have no understanding of customer service beyond the wham-bam. accutint's primary focus now is on getting dealership business, and as a result, the 1-off install experience has suffered so i no longer refer people to them... actually, have not for a couple of years now.

i know of countless number of stories where they've missed appointments, mishandled installs w/o the commensurate&proper follow-thru and it makes my credibiliy go down the drain right along with them as a referrer.

next

good thing is, there are others who have stepped up as a viable 3m install alternative and in fact now better than ever with a few years of experience under their belt. and just as important, they place value on the customer experience beyond the seeing the results of the monkey job.

Back from the dead. I just purchased a new 07 Rio S2K and called Jin and the price is $799 plus tax for the full kit. I'm going to shop around a bit. He says he uses Venture Shield as opposed to 3M and all edges are wrapped. My brother has the Venture shield on his white EVO (installed 3 years 3 years ago) and it is already yellow. Perhaps the quality is better now.

I'll keep everyone updated.

i had my car done up with ventureshield recently - it's much smoother than the 3m film. the installer (matthew) did a fantastic job. if it turns yellow, just have them do it again at no charge.

I've called around today and have received quotes anywhere from $600-$900. Are there any shops locally to stay away from? If you don't wan tto mention them publicly feel free to PM me. I'm looking to get it done as soon as possible.
