There's an Astrology event going on that weekend? Cool!
don't know PIR will be a good day for Proformance, they are, as usual, very focus on the safety side, yet IMO, trying to focus on mandate the driver's pace and attitude. (which is fine with me) but yet without corner workers in every corners make me nervous sometimes.
I sure hope they'll have more corner workers at PIR, and taking a different approach there. IMO, PIR is a big track, and you could really pushing yourself more than at PR without risking crashing your car. My last and first impression of PR is a month ago with the Porsche-Audi-BMW Tri club event. I can't comment the organizers and marshall's attitude: very long drivers' meeting, but yet, everyone got confused for 2 full course yellow warmed up laps. Squeezing novice, intermediate group time and giving instructor's group more track time....
I had fun on that day since they had a rule of "free passing zone" (point-by is optional), a little racing atmosphere... but then one of our buddy who had 95+ track days experiences got kicked out for his first time with the other seasoned tracker for passing 3 cars wide. (Situation directly caused by the other two cars slower in front) Granted, the day were occupied 105+ cars and guessed everyone's working too hard and they are trying to kick someone out to clean up the track a little bit...
