Default Valve Adjustment

Hey guys,

Had a couple of questions regarding this. Has anyone had thier valves adjusted before? If so do you know where a good place to do this would be and the cost? I was thinking about dropping off at the dealership while I was at work but any thoughts on this would be greatly appriciated =]

on a side note.

The reason I believe i need them adjusted is because i have just replaced the chain tensioner and the ticking sound im getting just slightly went away as the noise is still very loud at idle only, not when im rolling as replacing the tct corrected that.

Thanks guys

Having the valves inspected is not a bad thing, but the ticking you are hearing is probably the fuel injectors. The valves can be perfectly adjusted and the F20C still has a very noticeable ticking noise.

As to your question, I've done it myself many times, but I have no idea what someone would charge for it. A couple hours of shop labor, probably.
