I trust Philip @ Gregs Japanese Auto in Covington. He is one of thier very best Honda Master Tech's and has over 20 years experience on Honda's. Gregs has 8 locations but I am only familiar with this one personally.

at what point should you replace your clutch? i feel like mine needs to be replaced but it still drives fine. only 1-2 and sometimes 2nd to 3rd does it slip when really stepping on it. i know clutch jobs are not cheap and have been avoiding it at all cost

If it's slipping, you should replace immediately. I replaced mine when I first noticed slipping. I'm lucky I didn't wait longer, because the clutch was a hair from the rivets.
