Default Windshield Replacement

I have an appointment 7/32 to get my windshield replaced by Matt Korba of Blue Ribbon Auto Glass. I'm getting a Honda OEM windshield and gasket from Fife Honda and Matt is installing it at the dealership. My deductible is $250 so insurance is paying the rest.
Question - has anyone had Blue Ribbon Auto Glass replace a windshield?
Thanks!

Bit late to be asking that now, isn't it?

Oh, good catch. I guess it might be a really long time before the work actually gets done.

I've heard an aftermarket PPG Glass windshield is more durable than OEM?

My last three S2000 windshields were $300 or less. Why do you need to engage the insurance company?

While you may intially save $50... what happens if you start filing additional claims? The risk of an increased rate outweighs the cash savings in my mind.

And since you mentioned it, a $250 deductable (let alone a $0) doesn't seem like a good idea unless you are reasonably SURE that you will need to file a comprehensive claim. Seems like a waste of money otherwise.

Honda OEM windshields are not $300...they're closer to like $600.
