CNC machinist in Puyallup for the past 3 years... Love my job but the economy is ruining it!!! The stress is killing me... dunno if I will have a job by summer, they have done lay-offs 6 times at my shop and I am the youngest person there now by far @ 23, I thought I would be the first to go... but if they lay-off anyone else they will pretty much have to close the doors (GOD NO!!!!)

Dude! How's Australia?! Are you still there?!
yes...still down under. Staying put until the GFC has gone away.

Can't complain...living 5 mins from the beach. Can't say I will ever be able to do that in SEA.

Only crappy thing is I can't afford any cool cars. Stinking tariffs are ridiculous here.

Yeah becuase they messed up ours. Did you forget, we are a global economy now. We are driving the ship, "were" driving the ship. Now we are just trying to stay afloat in our own mess and dragging everyone else down with us. The trade structure is F-ed up and we instigated it. You can blame that on Regan for his ultra deregulation theories and Clinton for passing WTO. The terrif was aloud to fall out of exchange weakening our trade exchange. Am I off base here?

Keep drinking the Cool Aid Chris. You're in the perfect part of the country for that. Oh, and Clinton was conservative?
