Default 1Dmk2N on the way

I usually don't post the "hey.. look at me" threads, but this morning I found a nice 1dmk2N on Fred Miranda with 2809 clicks. Something inside me snapped and I jumped on it.

UPS Tracking info states delivery on Friday. I'm sooooo stoked.

Feel free to call me an asshole now.

You're going to love it! The 1DMKII has been my favorite photography purchase. Check out the Custom Functions on POTN. Switching the AI Servo and AE Lock buttons is awesome .....especially for panning.

Thanks.
I'm sure there's going to be a learning curve, but I'm looking forward to it.

It'll be nice having two bodies to bring to events. I shot softball Friday night and Saturday, and road racing Sunday. I'm constantly changing between my 70-200 and 300mm lenses, so having them already mounted up will be ultra nice.

You'll have to get use to the user interface, which is different than the 20d/30d/350d/400d. It'll probably take a few hours to adjust on using the buttons and button combos to change ISO, shooting mode, etc.

Well...I dont want to rain on your parade, or steal your thunder, but I just saved a bunch of money by switching to Geico.

Are you going to be "wanting" if the Mark III becomes available in the next 4 weeks?
