Default 20D purchased

Well after weighing many many many options in the world of Canon. It came down to be buying a used 20D, I feel for the $, unless I go full frame sensor for triple the price, the 20 was my best bet. The 30D was such a baby step from the 20 I couldn't justify spending 1100 on the 30 when I just bought a 20 for $750. I think this should get me enough work and money coming in for the time being to pay for itself and help me save for a full frame sensored Canon like a 5D or 1D Mk-II.

Now I am on the hunt for lenses since the body part is taken care of, and lights..... ugh... it never stops.

Nice Jake. I have yet to see any reason to purchase the 30D over a used 20D nor have I seen a reason to upgrade yet.

Yeah......lenses I've found the reviews on Fred Miranda to be very helpful. You don't have to buy Canon glass for everything - in certain lenses Tokina, Tamron, and Sigma are on par if not better than some Canon lenses.

Thanks guys, I have a local guy thats hard up for some $ selling some lenses so thats a start. Now I can get this clients taken care of that keep asking when I'm getting a camera. I should recoop my money on this in about a month or so. I won't be charging a whole lot at first until I get comfortable with the camera.

Can I add the S2kI photo forum badge now I'm about to be whoring it up in this place. Canon FTW!
