Default Alaska

Hey everyone. I got back from my trip to Alaska last night. I've flipped through a few photos, but not all, and just wanted to put these out there.

The weather for the majority of the trip was lousy. Overcast most of every day, rain for part to most of every day. Not necessarily great conditions to shoot in.

So, here's two I grabbed while at work today. I'm going to dump my cards tonight and start the sorting process later.

I've started to put some on my public site: My Picasa Homepage . You can also find some panoramics at the main gallery in the panoramic folder.

Gary

Don't get too excited. I did my first quick scan yesterday and I'm not happy at all with my pics.

OK - a few more. These are from Ketchikan and Misty Fjords.

As we arrived in the morning. I'd say a bit of fog...

In the afternoon it cleared enough for the floatplanes to fly. The distortion in the first is the window. The second was from the pontoon. (For some legal reason, floatplane passengers aren't allowed to exit the plane onto land.)
