Default Arran

Blatantly reposting pics I've put in the meet thread in the UK section but what the hell

Another trip north of the border, and this time over the water too, to the island of Arran for bonfire night. There's something rather reassuring about an island that has so few roads (including the excellent String Road) that even I cannot get lost

Moo?

That's the Gulf Streams for you. They keep the water in the Clyde 4degrees centigrade warmer than the water off the South coast of Engerland during the winter.

The rain clouds are the downside.

Awesome panoramic shot!! Did you use a panoramic lens or is that a multi-shot?
