C&C please...
I'm just trying to get a feel for what people think about these types of photos... I know people are different so I figured I would post it and see.... please be forward... if it sucks to you say it sucks, if it looks great but needs work please say it.... Thanks
Beaar, my critique is in the pm I returned to you and the shot you asked me about is this one below which yes is mine. As explained in my pm more isolation with your shot above will make it a stronger composition.

Happy shooting!

First off, the file is pretty darn big...no need for that.
Now the photo. When you're shooting macro, you need to be very specific as to what your subject is. What is it in this case?
The plant? Leaf? Water droplet? To tell you the truth, I don't know.
This was handheld I assume? Or if you used a tripod, used AF?
You need a tripod, a deeper DOF, and more price focus. Nothing is tack sharp here. I'm going crosseyed just looking at it.

My two main suggestions follow those above somewhat, first try different angles to find a background that has less noise to it, something with more flat color.
The other suggestion is to move in even farther, you only really have one leaf in focus near the top of the image, so all of the space below it is wasted. Blurring part of the main subject has the purpose of creating depth, however in this image, the part out of focus is more parallel to the image plane. Instead if you want to blur part of the main subject, it should be perpendicular to the image plane, so that it exaggerates depth and perspective.
