Default Call it sleep.

This set is my attempt to bring more emotional content into my photography. I chose this 1965 Corvette for the assignment because I've always had a soft-spot in my heart for late 60's Corvette's, and this one has certainly been mistreated to the point of no return. It was a difficult thing for me to capture an American Icon in the throwes of death, as I'm usually concerned with cleanliness and perfection, so I really can't say if I've been successful or not, maybe you all can tell me.

"Call it sleep" is the title of a song written by Steve Vai for a friend of his that passed, and having trouble with the issue, he didn't call it death, but instead called it sleep.

Beautiful set my friend! The b/w (maybe sepia would work too) is pretty fitting for the car. Great shallow aperture too, what lens?

If the first shot wasn't so centered, it would be my favorite of the bunch. It's close enough that it has a defined non-landscape subject, but far enough that it gives a feeling that it had died alone.

I swear I saw these on APN.

Not that I mind; since I love the set

The first one I'm not a fan of; the broken windshield is just killer.

You did see them on APN . The first shot is simply there to show the vehicle.

Nice work Sidenote that car could be brought back to life with some TLC.

If you know who owns it snatch it up cheap!

Corvette emblem shot FTW nice work here with the dof on both edges! Very sweet shot.

Nice series. The cracked windshield is my favourite.

Very nice set. I agree, the windshield shot is tops.
