Default Christmas Gift :)

Santa has been good, not only did I get a Gigantic Sony Viao (laptop) to view my pictures on a huge LCD screen, I also got this bad boy

Sigma 10-20 F/4-5.6

Havent gotten a chance to shoot with it yet but this is my first Sigma Lens and I am VERY VERY impressed with the build quality

Superb lens, and IMHO, built better than the Canon 10-22.

Look at the edge sharpness quality of this thing (as long as you keep it at F8...for a UWA, you should always shoot F8 or F11)

Pay attention to the lower left bolt on the sign....

Look at the text next to that bolt.... 100% crop, no in camera/post camera sharpening. Just RAW--->JPEG conversion

I tried out that one at B&H today. They had two Sigma 10-20s. One was the one you have, and the other was a f/3.5. It was like $200 more.

I haven't decided what I want yet.

I read the older one/slower one is actually sharper. I dunno how true it is, bit food for thought

These pictures were the first shots I took, I know composition wise its not very good, but it was just a quick shot to see how much area I could cover

Can't imagine what this thing can do on a full-frame

anyway, here is Christmas Dinner
