Default D40 question

I'vs had my D40 for awhile now, and am finally starting to play with it. One question I had is if there is a way to setup the camera so it takes 3 consecutive photos: -2 0 +2 exposure shots. Or do you have to go back and manually do it. I always remembered my friend with a canon who's camera did that and I cant seem to find out how on the D40. Manual didnt say anything that I could see.

Thanks for the input

Look in the manual for 'bracketing'.

I don't think the D40 supports brackets. And the D80 only supports 3 shot bracketing. That's why I ended up with the D200 which supports 7 (I think)
