Default The Duece

I have not posted anything in awhile. Looking for some C&C. I love the lighting and the subject, but I still feel like maybe I over think the rules of thirds, and do not use it properly.

For the first one, its centered and probably would have been better offset to the left. That being said, I was on the side of the HWY, and wanted to convey the size of the truck, so being center and filling the frame I feel helps convey the size without having an object directly next to it to use for perspective.

1).

2.)

3.)

4.)

Thanks for looking!

I like the shots, nice color! Don't beat yourself up over the rule of thirds remember nothing is absolute.

I used to fix those machines when I was in the Navy. The texture of the paint in picture #3 gives me flash backs.

Like zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzippy said, the rule of thirds isn't absolute. The first shot works, though I wouldn't have minded just a little more room on the right for it to "drive into".
